New year opening for Tolbooth

Stonehaven’s Tolbooth Museum is to open on New Year’s day between 11am and 3.30pm.

The popular attraction has had a busy year and has thanked everyone for their continued support.

Festive opening times will be December 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28 at the usual time of 12.30pm-3.30pm, on Hogmanay from 12.30pm–3.30pm and then 8pm–10.30pm.

The Tolbooth welcomed Carol Kinghorn, lord lieutenant of Kincardineshire, and her husband along with her deputy, Ian Parkinson and his wife, back in October. A host of volunteers were on hand to show them round and to give them information on the exhibits on show.
