Stonehaven-based social firm Gift Corner opened its doors to the public this week as it held an open day on Monday.
Gift Corner, which is run by leading social care charity Cornerstone and Aberdeenshire Council, invited members of the community along to see the work which takes place and Cornerstone’s Chief Executive, Edel Harris, was also there to meet visitors.
Much of the items on sale at Gift Corner are produced at Woodview Embroidery and Printing, which is part of the same organisation.
All profits from the social firm are re-invested in charitable activities supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, mental health issues and other support needs.
Situated on Evan Street, Gift Corner is the town centre shop which sells goods produced at Woodview and also stocks a range of other gift items.
Woodview Embroidery and Print Services is based in a workshop in Stonehaven and they can embroider and print a wide range of logos and designs for work wear, sports clubs and schools.
