Police appeal after theft from car in Stonehaven

Police are appealing for information after a car was broken into at the car park of the Co-op, David Street in Stonehaven.

The theft from the secured motor vehicle occurred at around 4.15pm on Tuesday February 10 at the car park of the Co-op, David Street in Stonehaven.

As a result, a handbag which contained money and other personal and electrical items valued at a high- three figure sum was stolen. The car was also damaged as a result of the theft and is estimated to cost a mid-three figure sum to repair.

Anyone with information about this theft who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area at the time is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
