Political groups are meeting this weekend in a bid to form a new admininstration in Aberdeenshire.

Following the council elections, the Conservatives have emerged as the largest party with 23 councillors.

The SNP have 21 and the Liberal Democrats 14, triggering fresh speculation of another coalition with the Tories.

The parties are holding group meetings to discuss who will have control of the council chamber.
