The presentation night for the Marykirk Raft Race has been set along with the group’s AGM.
Kerri Duncan of the Marykirk Raft Race Committee said: “The committee is proud to announce that they have had another very successful 12 months.
‘‘With a fun-filled year of hard work and events being held both in Marykirk and Montrose, we will now be able to present the charities with their cheques at the presentation night on Friday, August 22.
“The event starts at 7.30pm and is being held in the Marykirk Hotel. Come along to collect your trophies from the raft race event and be part of the fun on the evening. The committee would like to invite all of the chosen charities along to collect their money on the night.”
The committee will also be holding their annual AGM on Friday, August 29. This is a chance for new members to get on board and help out with the events that the committee put on throughout the year.
Kerri added: “This could be as simple as submitting ideas. The committee are very welcoming to new members and look forward to seeing some new faces next month.”
