Stonehaven Rotary Club are to host a Sporting dinner next week at the Station Hotel.
The event will take place next Friday, March 7 at 7pm and will help raise funds for the proposed dialysis unit at the Kincardine Community Hospital and the UCAN unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The group have received donations of prizes, some of which will be available through raffles, with a few auctioned on the night.
The cost is £35 per person and includes a three course meal, tea, coffee and mints, and two bottles of wine on each table. Tables may be reserved for parties of 8 while smaller groups or individuals will be accommodated.
The evening’s comedy impressionist is Paul Reid, an after-dinner speakers & sports impressionist. Paul started speaking at events in 1998 at only 16 years of age. He has appeared at benefit dinners for many famous names including, Sir Alex Ferguson, Neil Lennon, Gordon Strachan and Maurice Malpas.
The evening’s raconteur is sought after, long time Abroath solicitor and Glasgow’s Council Sheriffs’ Association mwember Sheriff Lindsay Wood.
