Have your say

Newtonhill Village Association (NVA) are delighted that once again they have persuaded Santa Claus to pay a visit to Newtonhill to help the Village Association collect money for the Common Good Fund.

This weekend, December 12-13, Santa will tour the village with his happy band of elves, knocking on doors and asking residents to spare a few pennies to benefit village groups.

Newtonhill Village Association are seeking elves and their responsible adults to come along to help Santa.

They will depart at 4pm sharp each day and have asked people to please be at the Bettridge Centre by 3:45pm on Saturday, and the same time at the entrance to Cairnhill on Sunday.

Safety of the children taking part is taken extremely seriously; therefore all elves must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Unaccompanied children will be asked to return home.

Santa’s routes on Saturday December 12 will be the Courts, Murray Road, St Michael’s and surrounding streets.

The route on Sunday December 13 will be Cairnhill, Park Place and surrounding streets

See the Newtonhill Village Association Facebook page for more details on this and other upcoming events.
