Sarah Myles and Christopher Dyson are embarking on a series of challenges to raise over £1000 for charity in memory of their sister.
The coming months will see the pair cycle, run, swim, kayak, climb, bake and bounce their way through 10 fundraising events to commemorate Hannah Dyson, who sadly lost her battle with cystic fibrosis almost a decade ago on May 1, 2005.
The pair’s next fundraising event, The Big Bounce, will see them bounce as many times as they can on a space hopper around an indoor course for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
The event is being held this Saturday, November 22, from noon – 2pm at Stonehaven Leisure Centre and is open to all.
Sarah said: “My sister always strived to achieve great things in life and never let her illness stop her. We wanted to do something to mark this 10th anniversary and what better way than to raise money and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust”.
Since September, the pair have already completed two of their 10 events; the Pedal for Scotland cycling challenge from Glasgow to Edinburgh and a 10-kilometre run based around their home town.
So far, they have already raised more than £500 for the Trust.
