Pair hurt in paragliding accident

Two paragliders were injured when they collided in mid-air.

The men landed heavily in the accident between Crieff and Comrie in Perthshire at about 10.30am, Tayside Police said.

A 42-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening.

The men were flying motorised paragliders, where the pilot hangs below a parachute and wears a motor on his back, police said.

The force asked for any witnesses to come forward.
