President L. Barnett welcomed everyone to the October meeting and introduced the entertainers, Alistair Souter, and Brennan, the singer.

This was greatly enjoyed by all. Tea was served, and a huge raffle was drawn.

At the next meeting, which will be held on November 12, the music will be provided by George Rennie.

Names will be taken for the Christmas party, which will be held in the Masonic Hall on Saturday, December 13.

The evening closed with a vote of thanks, which was proposed by B. Somerville.
