Fire engineering company, Blaze Manufacturing Solutions of Stonehaven lead the way in the finalist shortlist for this year’s Grampian Award for Business Enterprise. Shortlisted in the Business Success over three years category they are up against Aberdeen-based firm, Fifth Ring and Davidsons Specialist butcher from Inverurie.
The twenty six finalists, announced on Monday include Turriff-based firm, ACE Winches, which has been shortlisted in two categories - The Alick Buchanan Smith Spirit of Enterprise award and Employer of the Year.
Project management contractor, EPC Offshore, based in Aberdeen, has reached the finals in the Business Success under three years category. Four young entrepreneurs, under the age of 35, have been shortlisted in the Emerging Entrepreneur category; they are Chris Tonner of Beetroot Restaurants, James Deer of Deer Digital, Graeme Masterton of Gamola Golf and Tracey Barratt of TG Bespoke Hair Design.
The Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise recognise business achievements and entrepreneurship among companies and individuals in the north east of Scotland. Finalists will find out if they have won a coveted Enterprise Award at a gala dinner held at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel on Thursday June 21.
The annual Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise are organised by Enterprise North East Trust (Enterprise) and sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council.
