The Friends of CLAN Stonehaven and Mearns held a very successful Pamper Day and Spring Fayre at the Invercarron Resource Centre on Sunday and raised just over £1,000.

CLAN would like to thank the therapists who gave their time free of charge to the event and enabled them to raise so much money.

As well as therapies ladies (and some gents!) could sit and enjoy a cuppa or a glass of wine with friends as well as indulge in some retail therapy with quite a variety of unusual goods on display from woolly sheep kits to jewellery and candles, home decorations and pictures and cards, vintage clothing and scarves crafted as roses to gifts of every possible variety. CLAN also had a successful tombola.

There wasn’t a person who left that didn’t have a smile on their face and clutched bags with their purchases or wins on the tombola.

Thanks to all the therapists including Cora Ewen, Nicky Hessell, Janey Archer (Dragon Fly Therapy Newtonhill), Helen Cameron, Allison Summers, Catherine Scott (Tranquility Reflexology), Karen Law (No Hands Massage from Rainbow Holistic Therapies), Ruth Peace (Peacehaven Complementary Therapies), Anne Palmer, Susan Anderson and Maureen Smith (both of Pamperzone Laurencekirk) and Lesley MacKay (Dr Hauschka facials).

There are only a couple of weeks before the next event- a Race Night at the Station Hotel on Friday April 5 at 7pm. Tickets are available from the CLAN drop-in centre at 8 Robert Street or The Creel and are priced at £5 each.
