Stonehaven & District Talking Newspaper Association raised a whopping £460-plus at their coffee morning in Invercarron Resource Centre last Saturday.

The group raised £462.80, which they plan to share with Guide Dogs Scotland.

Joan Duncan from the Talking Newspaper told the Leader: “We would like to thank everyone who supported us in any way.

‘‘We are especially indebted to MacPhie’s of Glenbervie, Grainger’s, Rose Bowl, Crafty Creations, Pet Shop, Mearns Art Group and Culinaire for their generosity.”

The Talking Newspaper is a charity and runs with the help of volunteers who edit, read, record and post out the recordings of the Mearns Leader and other articles to listeners in the local area and beyond.
