Crowds turned out in force last Saturday for this year’s Taste of Grampian in Inverurie.

It is believed that this year’s 16th annual event will be a record breaker, with thousands attending the cookery demonstrations featuring Aberdeen’s own Masterchef finalist Brian McLeish and French chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.

Also passing on hints and tips were Lady Claire Macdonald and local Great British Bake Off contestant Norman Calder.

A host of Grampian food and drink producers displayed the very best from the North-east larder, with visitors snapping up their produce to try at home.

Freelance photographer Paul Douglas was on hand to capture the action for us and his pictures are featured in our slideshow, created for your viewing pleasure by community hub deputy editor Julie Currie.
