A busy coastal road was left blocked when an incident caused a lorry travelling along it to overturn and shed its load.
The A92 at the Braehead junction, between Stonehaven and Inverbervie, was blocked following the road traffic collision early yesterday lunchtime (Wednesday).
A spokeperson from Police Scotland said on Wednesday: “An articulated lorry overturned and shed its load but there were no reported injuries.
“Police Scotland was alerted to the matter shortly after 12.30pm.”
Local diversions were set up along the A92.
The road was blocked for some time while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The road was only partially reopened a few hours later.
As the Leader went to press yesterday, the A92 was closed joining the A90 northbound. However, the A92 southbound was open.
