BUDDING secret service agents are being invited to the town hall on Saturday August 13 to take part in a treasure hunt.

Local business, Treasure Trails, has teamed up with Stonehaven Town Hall Trust to provide a treasure hunt for their family fun day.

Liz Johnston of Treasure Trails said: “I was delighted to lend my support to the trust and it’s fundraising venture. The Town hall is a great venue and very important to the Community. “The treasure hunt I’ve written is a Spy Trail featuring a baddie, Dr Ivor Plott, who has planted a huge smelly stinkbomb which will be activated unles clues are solved and the secret code revealed, so we need budding secret service agents to help!”

The Stonehaven Town Hall Trust was established in 2010 and is working with Aberdeenshire Council to bring the town hall back to community ownership. The proceeds of the fun day will go towards renovation and redecoration.

There will be stalls, face painting, lucky dip, crafts and lots more on the day which will run from 11am - 5pm with entry costing £2 for an adult and £1 for a child, tickets include refreshments.
