O2 mobile phone customers in the Bervie area have been left frustrated and angry during the past 10 days after they faced major disruption to their network service.
Customers started experiencing problems on Sunday, February 24, with many reporting that their phone signal kept coming and going, while others said that they have had no signal at all.
Local resident Hazel Hamilton-Hall put out a plea on social networking site Facebook for others affected to contact her so that she could compile a list of complaints for the service provider.
She has so far been contacted by 108 people regarding the problem, which had an effect on local businesses as well as personal users.
Normal service is thought to have been resumed on Tuesday evening, and it is believed that some customers have been reimbursed by O2 for their inconvenience.
