Pupils at Bervie School recently participated in ‘Wear it - Beat It’ day where they raised money for British Heart Foundation.

One pupil at the school suffers from a heart condition so the school’s pupil council arranged the event where the children paid £1 and were challenged to dress as red as possible.

There was a prize for the redest pupil in each class and those pupils are pictured.

Classes also took part in a BHF maze activity.

The final amount raised was £271.27.
