Sponsored Slim

Our annual sponsored slim for Christian Aid is under way with our first weigh in out the way, Slim for just three weeks and ask your friends and family to sponsor you for every pound you lose! Every £ raised will help Christian Aid to support people in the third world who have a daily struggle with poverty and hunger.

Come along, get weighed and collect your sponsor form. The weigh-out will be Monday May 11.

Bervie Lunch Club

Bervie Lunch Club meet once a fortnight in the Masonic Hall, King Street, Inverbervie, From 12noon- 1.30pm.

They enjoy a two course lunch, usually Soup and Pudding costing £4 they next meet on Tuesday April 28.

Our fundraising for this year will be a Stall at the Inverbervie Gala, a bingo evening and coffee morning later in the year.

On Wednesday April 8we were all entertained to a lovely selection of Highland, Irish and Modern Dancing by Eileen Lindsay School of Dancing from Laurencekirk, ages from 5-18 and Thanks to the mums who helped, kids finished up with drinks and Treats, everyone else enjoyed a cuppa and shortie, Haste ye back, kids!

ON Friday April 17 we were entertained by The Singing Bobbie form Dyce, when he had all singing and clapping to his singing of some of the old somngs (you canna beat em) Not forgetting those funny stories , Yes Hanover Court has Talent. Finished off with a Cuppa and a wee Blether. Ally Bally gave a Vote of Thanks and Thanked Everyone for coming along and the Tea Ladies and Robert.

Bervie Bowling Green

The Bowling Green, Kirkburn Inverbervie is now open for the season , we would welcome new members of all ages, Junior nights on Monday from 6pm.

Those who are new to bowling can have free membership for a month to give it a try and coaching and equipment are available.

`Citizen of the year and Young Citizen of the year 2015’ Nominations

Royal Burgh of Inverbervie Gala -

I (Caroll Evans) am absolutely delighted to be given permission from The Gala Committee to run the Bervie Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year Nomination process again for 2015, for the fifth year running.

Please submit your nominations in writing. Stating your nominated person and reason for the nomination and include your name and address.
