Scottish Conservatives have accused the Scottish Government of burying North East ‘shovel-ready’ projects which they highlighted as being vital prior to the Autumn Statement.
NHS Grampian infrastructure projects identified by the SNP and listed as ‘shovel-ready’ projects included Stonehaven Health Centre. Nanette Milne, MSP said: “Following the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement the UK Government provided SNP Ministers with £331m in extra capital funding.
“The First Minister stated prior to the Autumn Statement that “these significant projects could get under way now, rather than being delayed. Now that the UK Government has given the Scottish Government the funding needed we see dither and delay. Increasingly questions are being asked whether or not the SNP will deliver these projects.”
