A woman was taken to hospital with suspected neck and head injuries after falling 15 feet off the harbour wall in Stonehaven last Friday night.
The incident happened at the old pier at 9.30pm.
Stonehaven and Aberdeen coastguard teams were called out after being notified by a member of the public.
Police were not in attendance for the incident.
A post on HM Coastguard Angus and Mearns stated: “Aberdeen MRCC received a request from the Scottish Ambulance Service to assist with the recovery of a casualty at Stonehaven harbour.
“Stonehaven and Aberdeen CRTs were tasked to assist recovery of a casualty with suspected neck and head injuries after falling 15feet off a harbour wall.
“The casualty was immobilised with a speed board and transported on a stretcher to a place of safety and further medical attention.
“Police Scotland & Scottish Ambulance Service were also in attendance. Teams stood down and returned to stations.”
