QUOITING - SUCCESS FOR CAPTAIN'S TEAM
THE Quoiting season got under way with the captain versus vice-captain annual team match.
The winner this year was the captain's team of Sandy Chalmers, Andrew Eddie and Sean Simpson who beat the vice captain's team of Graeme Eddie, Brian Eddie, and Euan Maclean by 23 shots to 13.
Scoring for the Handicap League has started on Tuesday nights with practice on Fridays, both at 7p.m. at Mill Lade, Stonehaven. New members are welcome on any of the nights.
At the recent AGM the office bearers were appointed as follows:- Honorary President – Rev. Rosslyn Duncan, Honorary Vice President – James Murdoch, President – Norman Falconer, Vice President – Richard Gauld, Secretary – Graeme Eddie and Treasurer – James Collie.
