“July 1 is the annual Stonehaven Half Marathon. This is a fantastic event, the atmosphere and team spirit is brilliant and if the weather holds out - bigger bonus.
If you’re really brave you can obviously enter the full half marathon (12 miles) but also you can take part in the relay team. This consists of a team of 4 running approx. 3 miles each. Last year we had a few teams that took part in this, so we are looking for the same this year.
“If you would like to enter with your team then go to http://stoneyhm.webnode.com/race-info/ or if you would like to compete but don’t have a team let me know and you can join me!!
“Remember when entering put in that you are in Jogscotland Stonehaven. If you don’t want to run, come along and cheer us on.
“On September 22 there a fun run in Hazelhead Park. Its for the Cardiomyopathy Association. Children can take part too, if accompanied by an adult. Its part of the big fun run group which do various runs all over the country. The Baker Hughes 10k race is on May 20. Last date for entering is today (May 4). You don’t have to run you can walk the 10k. There is also a fun run too.
