Bervie took the lead when Blacklaw played the ball to Wotherspoon on the left hand side of the box and he drove the ball home.
A Mintlaw midfielder was brought down by a combined tackle from Gordon and S. Smith from to give the visitors a penalty and the chance to equalise. However the resultant spot kick was well saved by Leisk.
a good cross from Avis was knocked back to Blacklaw who made no mistake in slamming the ball home for Bervie’s second.
Anderson was next to try his luck with a neat drag back to beat his man but the keeper saved his shot well to his right.
The third goal was not long in coming. Strong play by McLaughlin as he drove across the box resulted in him being brought down. Blacklaw took the resulting free-kick and drove home an unstoppable effort.
against the run of play Mintlaw were awarded a free-kick for Leisk carrying the ball out of his box and it was Mintlaw’s turn to score from a deadball.
Bervie regained their three goal advantage shortly after when a Blacklaw corner was met by Anderson with a diving header at the back post.
Bervie had their fifth when Anderson was fouled on the left and Blacklaw drove home another free-kick for his hat-trick.
The sixth came from a mix up when the keeper hesitated thinking the defender would clear the ball and this allowed Anderson to nip between them and slot home.
Bervie were dominant and were unlucky not to add to their tally with Anderson having one disallowed for offside and Thomson and Wood both going close.
