BADMINTON BATTLES

CATTERLINE Primary's Spring Badminton Tournament took place at Mackie Academy on Saturday May 22, with teams from Catterline, Dunnottar, Fettercairn, Johnshaven and Kinneff all taking part.

All matches were fiercely fought and proved to be very close games.

Boys' Winner - Owen Plummer, Catterline; Runner-Up - Finlay Mowat, Catterline.

Girls' Winner - Marie Stenhouse, Kinneff; Runner-Up - Lisa Porter, Johnshaven.

Best P5 - Max McBay, Johnshaven. Best P4 - Michael Stenhouse, Kinneff.

The doubles matches had to be re-scheduled and were played the following Saturday, May 29 at Inverbervie Leisure Centre.

Doubles' Winners - Owen Plummer and Hester Irving, Catterline. Runners-Up - Finlay Mowat and Elise Kemp, Catterline.
