Bervie Caley Youth held their inaugural presentation night for the recently formed U12 and U14 sides at the Burgh Hall in Bervie.
Music from Johnshaven band “Standby” and a home cooked buffet for the interval were both very much appreciated. To raise some funds there was a raffle plus “Guess the Teddy’s Birthday” which were very well received.
To help make the U12 presentations were Richard North from Aberdeen Audi/John Clark Group and Graeme Riddell from Braemar Seascope.
The U12s had a very good finish to their season, only losing one game from beginning of February to the end of May.
The U14s had a great first season losing only one match, thus winning their league with promotion up to the “B” for next year. They are to attend a presentation night at Pittodrie at the end of June to receive their trophy/medals.
Bervie Caley Youth would like to say a big Thank You to all their sponsors, parents, helpers and anyone who contributed in their first operational season. For next season it is hoped that there may be another two or three teams added to the Bervie Caley Youth portfolio, thus the continuing support of all mentioned above will be greatly appreciated for the coming season.
