Ladies draw with Aberdeen Reserves in six-goal thriller

Stonehaven Ladies travelled to Kaimhill pitches to face Aberdeen Reserves.

Stoney took the lead when Kennedy raced onto a through ball to finish from a tight angle.

Aberdeen then got their equalizer, a through ball from midfield found their attacker who finished high over Paterson in the Stoney goal.

Stoney took the lead again. A great run and shot from Masson on the right left the Aberdeen keeper no chance. Stoney then got their third before half time, Gordon picking up a loose ball to finish.

Aberdeen came out fighting knowing they had it all to do to get back into this match. They managed to pull one back, another through ball from midfield beating the Stoney back line. Stoney were struggling to make much chances for themselves, under a lot of pressure from Aberdeen.

Aberdeen got their equalizer which meant a share of the points. Next game for Stoney is the second round of the league cup, away to Forfar Farmington on March 22.
