Luthermuir WFC’s last home game of the season saw them up against Buchan Ladies Youth.
Muir were looking to continue their good form as they are 5 games unbeaten in the league.
The break though was made by Luthermuir on 22 minutes.
Boyack won the ball in midfield and passed to Brough who slipped the ball in between the back line for Lownie to race at goal where she coolly side footed it home past the keeper for 1-0.
Two minutes later Buchan were level when Anderson skipped past a challenge from Bruce to fire high into the net from 12 yards.
The ball was played along the back line from the attacker where Murison fired it clear down the right, Lownie raced onto it and side footed the last defender to head to goal, she fired her shot over the goal keeper to put the Muir 2-1 up.
As the half was drawing to a close the ball was fired forward by Buchan and Aiken came out to meet it with the attacker Anderson who nipped it away from her, as it bobbled about she composed herself before firing it into the net for 2-2.
Luthermuir took off D Young and Egginton went on with a change to the formation to 4-4-2 to try and get back in front.
Within a minute Buchan took the lead when Anderson had her hat-trick, the ball was played to her on the edge of the box and she turned Bruce before firing low into the net for 3-2.
It only took two minutes later where Luthermuir were back on level terms when straight from the kick off the ball was played out wide right, Crawford worked a one two with Lownie and as she created space on the wing she crossed to the penalty spot where it was met by Egginton to head over the keeper for 3-3.
On 67 minutes Luthermuir went back into the lead when Brough played the ball out to Crawford who played a defence splitting ball across the park where Egginton met it on the run and fired it high past the keeper for 4-3.
Luthermuir extended their lead and made the game safe on 72 minutes when a ball down the middle from Boyack to Egginton was flicked on past the defender, Lownie ran onto it by went wide, she skipped past the girl inside the box and fired it high into the net for 5-3.
The final chance of the game fell to Egginton on 86 minutes when a ball down the wing by Hendry was controlled well by her and she cut inside the defender, as she raced towards the goal she fired a low shot from 20 yards that was saved by the keeper.
The Muir girls showed great character to come back from being 3-2 down to win the game comfortably in the end and keep the fight for fourth going to the last game of the season.
