A SYFC training session

Stonehaven Youth are on the lookout for new members and volunteers to help bring some new blood into the club.

SYFC are continuing on towards SFA Community Club status and are on the lookout for volunteers including sports journalism and coaching.

Richard Thomsas SYFC Coach Coordinator said: “As we move towards the SFA Community Club status we are encouraging all types of volunteers into the club.

“The increase in members over the last few years means we are always on the lookout for new coaches. SYFC will mentor new coaches and encourage them to attend SFA courses funded by the club.

“Not only Coaches…..Do you have a skill, a contact or an idea to enhance our club please get in touch.

“Some volunteer opportunities could include; fundraising, event’s organiser, sports journalism, match refreshments, nutritional experts, Positive Coaching Scotland side-line champion (To keep those coaches in check!) or even just assisting to set-up on match days which is a big help.”
