Marykirk hosted Fordoun in the League Cup in what was one of the opening games of the Welfare League season.
It took the visitors only eight minutes to take the lead when McComiskie rose highest at the back post to nod in a Simpson cross. In the tenth minute they doubled their advantage when Murray cut in from the edge of the box to score.
McComiskie got his second a minute later he scored from inside the box. In the 31st minute McComiskie made it 4-0 when he tied a defender in knots before shooting into the bottom corner.
It was 5-0 a minute later when Keddie latched on to a long pass before knocking the ball over the keeper and into the net. In the 35th minute Marykirk pulled a goal back when Fordoun attacker McComiskie was flagged offside and the home defender fired the free kick forward and watched as it bounced over Tough and into the Fordoun net.
In the 38th minute Dean McComiskie twisted and turned before shooting past the post and four minutes before half time Nathan Keddie met a Ryan Murray corner with an overhead kick which sailed over the bar.
Fordoun began the second half as they had the first when Keddie made it 6-1 firing home from 25 yards in the 48th minute. Fordoun were in seventh heaven one minute later when R Deans met a cross from the right hand side and slotted home.
In the 55th minute Keddie sent the ball inside the post from outside the box to grab his fourth of the game, a feat which McComiskie was able to match when he finished a knock down inside the Marykirk box to make it 9-1.
In the 62nd minute Thomson hooked the ball home after a Roy Welsh shot was blocked. Two minutes later it was 11-1 when McLaren ran from the halfway line and when his shot was blocked R Deans finished well. In the 66th minute McLaren got his goal when he finished from close range and at the other end Tough had to look lively to claw a Marykirk shot away from the top corner.
In the 68th minute R Deans blasted home a through ball and McLaren made it 14-1 when he fired in from a Murray cross.
In the 77th minute R Deans tapped in another Murray cross. It was 16-1 in 80 minutes when McLaren weaved into the box and scored then from the kick off Marykirk hit the bar.
Jamie Tough then made a good save from a free kick but Marykirk did get another one back in the 89th minute when an attacker nutmegged a Fordoun defender and shot into the bottom corner. In the last minute a cut back from McLaren went in off a defender to make the final score 17-2.
