Grant tops the leaderboard in stableford

The start of the winter league competition brought mild and calm conditions. Despite the rain during the week the course was in a fine state.

Top of the leaderboard was young Grant Robb with an excellent gross score of 66 giving him 41 stableford points. This gave him a 2 point win over Captain Mike Rendall. Third with 38 points was Sandy Watt.

There was also some hot scoring in the doubles section. New pairings of Craig Mackay & Jim Hepburn and Chris Brown & Ross Porter gelled well together to top the scratch section with a score of 60 and Craig and Jim’s nett score of 53 topped the handicap section.
