Scott Beedie scored a hat-trick for the second game in a row as his treble helped secure all three points for Johnshaven away to Old Aberdonians on Saturday.

Johnshaven took the lead when Scott Beedie took the ball down and blasted it into the bottom corner.

In the 21st minute Smith’s cross was headed narrowly wide by Scott Beedie.

In the 28th minute David Beedie’s overhead kick from a long throw went just over the bar as Johnshaven pressed to extend their lead.

In the 31st minute an effort on the edge of the box by Smith forced a fine save. Two minutes later the keeper was up to the task again when he had another great save this time from Hood.

Four minutes from half-time a shot from David Beedie from no less than 40 yards came back off the crossbar. Ross Blease had a shot saved, then put the rebound over the bar.

On the stroke of half time, a Hood cross was cleared as far as Steven Smith who blasted home an effort into the top corner.

Johnshaven killed the game off in the first fifteen minutes of the second half. Some great battling from the front two at the restart let Sscott Beedie cross for Lee Hood to tap in. In the 56th minute Johnshaven broke from a corner and David Beedie who took the ball down brilliantly and ran in on goal to make it 4-0.

In the 60th minute Hood unselfishly squared the ball to Scott Beedie who made no mistake. In the 65th minute Scott Beedie again did brilliantly to drive in on goal and finish well for his hat trick.

In the 82nd minute an excellent cross from Comiskey found Hood whose diving header gave the keeper no chance for 7-0.

Old Aberdonians managed to grab a late consolation in the last minute when a well worked corner resulted in their striker shooting low to give keeper Smith no chance.
