Luthermuir Women entertained a high flying Falkirk Ladies team who have yet to be beaten this season. The first chance fell to Luthermuir in 8 minutes. A first time cross from Murison was just flicked over the crossbar by Reoch.
Falkirk then had a great chance but a great save by Aiken prevented the first goal. In 17 minutes Lownie got clear and her shot was held by the keeper.
Falkirk scored the first goal in 19 minutes. Smith was taken down in the box and she made no mistake from the spot.
In 31 minutes a great move down the right by Falkirk had the winger clear and her cross was just missed by an on rushing attacker.
Luthermuir had to make a change on 35 minutes when Smith picked up a knock so Forrester went on to replace her. On 44 minutes a free kick was whipped over and an attacker coolly directed the ball over Aiken for 2-0.
Luthermuir looked to get back into the game and within 4 minutes of the re-tart Aiken put Lownie clear on goal, but her weak shot was gathered by the keeper.
In 65 minutes the Falkirk winger cut inside and set up a midfielder but Aiken tipped the ball round the post.
Luthermuir broke from the resulting corner and Lownie got to the byeline. Her cutback fell to Forrester but she was unable to get her shot in.
In 70 minutes Aiken saved well at the feet of an attackerand cleared the ball.
For the next 10 minutes the play was even with both teams creating chances but both keepers held firm.
The final chance fell to Falkirk when a striker ran clear, but her shot was brilliantly saved by Aiken.
