Mackie MAFPRFC U16 rugby squad had a bag pack at the Stonehaven Cooperative on Saturday, December 19.

The boys are trying to raise funds for a rugby tour in 2016.

The successful bag pack included a tombola and a raffle for an impressive Xmas hamper with items donated by the parents of the boys. Congratulations to David from Ury estate the successful winner of the hamper.

Pete Law from MAFPRFC said: “Many thanks to the Stonehaven Cooperative (manager Euan Ross) for their support, the boys and parents who helped and all the public who generously donated on the day.”

Further fundraising events include a Tractor Pull race night at the Station hotel on Friday, February 12 and a joint ceilidh with the P7 rugby squad (who are also raising funds for their 2016 tour) on Friday, February 26 at Stonehaven Town hall. If interested in either of these events please contact Pete Law on 07919 201040.
