Portlethen Community 
Basketball Club are celebrating success again with six players selected to 
represent Scotland.

Neve Milne and Lily Taylor have been selected at under 11 Girls, Anna Sterk and Faith Wood at under 12 Girls, Eli Methven at under 13 Boys and Rosie Sterk at 
under 13 Girls.

Portlethen Panthers are now the second largest basketball club in Scotland 
and are reaping the rewards for their successful 
numbers.

Coach Jackie Bruce said: “We also want to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for supporting the 
installation of new height adjustable basketball goals at Inverbervie Sports Centre (Sportsmatch and Kincardine & Mearns Area Committee Budget).

“Congratulations to our national team players from everyone at the Club.”

The club have an ethos of whether you want to play for Scotland, or just 
come along to a session and participate - there is a session for you.

The last Super-Leagues of the season will take place on Saturday, March 12 at Inverbervie Sports Centre from 3pm to 5pm.
