Stonehaven Amateur Swimming Club held their second Santa’s Elves swimming gala at Montrose Sports Centre. Around 165 young swimmers, aged 8 to 11, took part on Sunday, December 7, with teams travelling from as far north as Peterhead and as far south as Dundee.

The prize for the best ‘festive-dressed’ team was this year won by Aberdeen Dolphins ASC, who all came along as Christmas presents, and poolside was once more awash with elves, reindeer, santas, Christmas trees, snowmen, etc, as swimmers, coaches and officials alike got into the Christmas spirit.

Santa once again took time out of his busy schedule to pop along, present medals and wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
