The season got underway on Saturday with 137 gents members playing in the first Innes medal qualifier of the season.
In Division one it was Bob Leggate with a 2 over par 68 nett 61 that took the honours beating Graeme Docherty and David Callaghan by two shots, Bob also qualifies for the Captains cup having the lowest gross of the day. In Division two there will be two entries into the final in September with Tim Prentice and Colin Black both sharing nett 64s two shots better than Eric Dickie.
The clear winner in Division three was club Treasurer Malcolm Ritchie with a nett 58 who had a healthy five shot lead over Stewart Forsyth and Stuart Christie.
Names are being taken for the Royal Bank Matchplay Pairs competition and the entry sheet can be found on the notice board.
Stonehaven have been drawn at home to local rivals Banchory in the 3rd Round of the Mail on Sunday Competition, the tie will take place on Sunday April 20.
