Stonehaven Amateurs Swimming Club (SASC) are holding trials next month at Stonehaven Leisure Centre.

The trials will be held Saturday March 19 at 4.30pm.

A club poster says: “If you can answer “yes” to all of the following, then come along at 4.30 pm to register. Swimming starts at 5pm.

“Can you swim 50m front crawl, back crawl and breast stroke, & dive? Can you attempt butterfly and tumble turns?

“Level 5, 6 or above of swimming lessons suggested level of ability, but email sasc_correspondence@hotmail.com with any questions.”

SASC also had some swimmers taking part in the Brodie’s Scottish Schools Swimming Competition last weekend. The Championship allows pupils at primary and secondary schools an opportunity to represent their school and compete to become national school champion in a range or age groups and events.
