The 7th UKSA sparring competition took place on November 1 at the Westdyke Leisure Centre in Westhill with competitors from Stonehaven taking part.

Colleen McIver from UKSA said: “It was a fantastic day with competitors of various weight/age categories show casing their martial art skills in order to get that valuable points that would earn them that winning score and lifting their trophy at the end of the day.

“All competitors showed true martial art “indomitable spirit” and mutual respect for their opposition.

“It is great to see the youngsters show good sportsmanship, self discipline and take pride in themselves and what they do, they after all are the future and will bring sport forward.”

£91-15 was given in donations by the spectators on the day which we are giving to Clan a charity which the organisation like to support.
