Budding young footballers at Portlethen Primary School were looking the part this week, when they sported brand new football training kits.
Following generous sponsorship from local companies including Falck Nutec, STC Solutions, Lethen Motors, Intermoor and Weatherford Drilling Services, every member of the Portlethen Primary School Football Club - from beginners in P1 straight up to competing players in P7 - received a training kit in the school colours, with some of the teams receiving kit bag and training tops.
Alan Hurry, Chairman of Portlethen Primary School Football Club commented: “We are delighted to be able to kit out every youngster who is part of the club and thank the companies who offered their support. It’s great to see all of the boys and girls turning up every week in the school colours.”
Liam Tough, a Primary 2 pupil at Portlethen Primary School, was delighted to receive his new strip and said: “I think my strip is great and when I see all my friends wearing the same strip it feels like we are all part of a proper football team.”
