It was the second last competition on the summer course before the winter tees and preferred lies come into operation from the 15th October. Winner of the stableford competition was David Henderson with 40 points. This gave him a one point win over Neil Irvine and Brian Thain

Last Wednesday saw the seniors playing for a new trophy. This was the Bob Leiper Trophy which was kindly donated by Pam Leiper in memory of her husband Bob who sadly passed away at the end of last year. First name on the trophy will be Stephen Winstanley who had an excellent 42 points to win by 1 point from Duncan Cursiter.

The club is now taking names for the annual smoker and prizegiving on 17th November. Guest speaker will be Alan Tait, a PGA golf professional and after dinner speaker.
