Enthusiasm is high for the Aberdeenshire Summer Badminton Camps running from August 6-10 at Portlethen Academy.
There are three camps each one designed to develop ability in the stages from beginner to improver and on to the more advanced player.
The camps are in the week following the Olympic London 2012 Badminton Event, where four Scottish badminton stars compete in the GB team from the July 28 to August 5.
With 172 competitors in the badminton and aiming for five Gold Medals, coaches are anticipating many young players will be inspired and looking forward to learning some new skills as they come to the camp hoping to emulate the play of the Scottish stars.
Aberdeenshire has its own junior badminton stars some of whom have the talent and aspire to be the stars of tomorrow.
