the Stonehaven Tennis Club ladies team travelled down to Edinburgh last Saturday to take on the ladies team from Craiglockhart Tennis Centre in Edinburgh.

The tennis centre is run by Duncan Macleod (a popular former coach at stonehaven).

This was a special challenge match to remember/celebrate the life of Nathan Chisolm, a hugely popular member of the club who tragically died last year at the age of 33.

The Stonehaven team won the match, despite playing on a different court surface than they are used to. The Craiglockhart Centre hosts major competitions, including the Scottish Open Championships.

The successful Stonehaven team, which received an impressive trophy for their win over the Craiglockhart Ladies was: Carolyn Barnett, Ann Sutherland, Corrie Ling, Jacqui Blackburn, Jenny Munro, Liz Powell, Sarah Duff and Mandy Woodford.
