Thistle slumped to their biggest defeat of the season at home to league leaders Bon Accord.

After losing another toss and being asked to bat STCC were all out for 74 on a very wet but fair pitch, with only the first three batsmen Milroy, Donald and Clive Hinchcliffe making double figures. Bhajani returned excellent bowling figures of 5-29.

The Bons comfortably made their target by the 15th over for the loss of only two wickets, with Awan unbeaten on 56.

Earlier in the second innings Andy Meres recorded his 11,000 run for the City based club before being bowled by Hinchcliffe.

This major slump in form over the latter part of the season sees Thistle, once top; continue to fall from third to fourth place with only two matches now remaining.
