On Saturday a team from Stonehaven went across to Banchory to play in the Mail on Sunday National Golf Classic. This is a competition that we have performed well in in the past but sadly on this occasion Banchory were too strong for us and we went down by the score of 3-2.

Results (Banchory names first): Roy Black (4) beat Alan Officer (7) 2&1, Martin Gordon (5) beat Alan Cruickshank (6) 3&2, Ross Gray (5) beat Eric Innes (11) 2&1, Steve Cooper (4) lost to Brian Lawson (9) 2&1, Adam Lindsay (+1) lost to Stewart Allsop (6) 3&2.
