Bouncy balls were the order over the weekend with a hard frost remaining throughout. Because of the frost, winter greens were in operation and the gully holes were out of action. Despite this there were a number of excellent scores in both singles and doubles sections. In the singles George Innes topped the leaderboard with 39 points with Stuart Paul one stroke behind. Duncan Cursiter and Ian Smith were both on 37 points.

In the doubles the clear winners in the handicap section were Chris Taylor and Ludwick Metelski with an excellent nett 54. In second place were Ian Hastie and John Starrs on nett 58.
In the scratch section there was a two way tie for first place from Neil Irvine & Harry Roulston and Davy Callaghan & Davy Summers with a 68.
