Christmas concert at Town Hall

Stonehaven Chorus will be holding their annual Christmas Concert in Stonehaven Town Hall this Sunday, December 15, at 7.30pm.

The night is entitled ‘Make a Joyful Noise’ and will be the first Christmas concert under conductor Ralph Jamieson.

The conductor has compiled an programme featuring a selection of music including the first part of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Britten’s Jubilate Deo.

There are also arrangements of some well known pieces such as ‘I Saw Three Ships a Sailing’ which will be accompanied by the Kil Whang Ringers.

During the concert the audience will have an opportunity to join with the chorus in singing some traditional Christmas carols and songs such as ‘I’m dreaming of a white Christmas’ and ‘The Snow Man’

Tickets are available from members, Giulianotti’s and at the door on the night.

Cost is £10 a ticket or £8 for concession, and this will include a glass of wine or soft drink before the

concert.
