Skies above Stonehaven set to light up next month

No year is complete without the annual fireworks display and bonfire organised by Stonehaven and District Round Table.

This year’s event on Sunday, November 2, in Mineralwell Park from 6pm promises an evening of fun, entertainment and excitement.

Raising money for local charities, the fireworks display will be bigger and better than ever, featuring synchronised music from Mearns FM Radio.

A spokesperson said: ‘‘Entrance will be £3 per adult and £1 per child. For safety reasons please do not bring sparklers as they could be left on the playing fields, and no alcohol allowed.Entries have now closed for the Build a Guy competition. Pupils from Arduthie and Dunnottar Primaries, as well as the 1st Stonehaven Beavers, are submitting entries.
