Stonehaven-based Deeside Timberframe is set to build on last year’s record financial performance with continued growth in central Scotland.
The timber systems manufacturer is reaping the rewards of its additional resources in central Scotland as well as north-west England, with over 60% of its business now outwith the north-east.
Deeside Timberframe, which recorded sales of £23million during 2015, has secured sales of £16million, so far, for the year to 2017. These contracts are with a number of contractors and private developers covering the affordable housing, private housing and commercial sectors.
John Wright, Deeside Timberframe’s managing director, said: “We are expecting to see another strong year of sales for our innovative timber frame solutions in both the house builder and construction sectors. Adding to our business development resources is part of our planned growth strategy and further underlines our commitment to deliver quality, reliability and value for money.
“Despite tough market conditions here, trading in the region remains strong with a healthy order book and a high level of enquiries.”
