Woodend Barn are hitting top gear as they cruise into their April season of films with a classic road movie and a contemporary crime caper featuring a getaway driver anti-hero. The Banchory Arts Centre is showing Drive, starring Ryan Gosling, on April 9 and Thelma and Louise, starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, on April 24.
Drive (18) is the story of a Hollywood stunt driver played by Ryan Gosling, who moonlights as a top getaway driver for hire.
Thelma and Louise (15) is often hailed as one of the best road movies of all time.
A full-throttle adventure across the American Southwest, Thelma and Louise also features a young sweet-talking Brad Pitt, and a determined Harvey Keitel as the detective keen to curtail the outlaws crime spree.
Both films start at 7.30 and tickets are £5.50 or £4.50 conc + bf.
